Listing Policy
Guidelines for what can and cannot be listed on Playhold Marketplace
To maintain a safe, trustworthy marketplace for game items and boosting services, all listings must comply with the following policies. Violations may result in listing removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.
Allowed Categories
Game Items
- In-game currency (gold, coins, credits)
- Virtual items and equipment
- Skins, cosmetics, and collectibles
- Game accounts (where permitted by game ToS)
- In-game resources and materials
Services
- Account boosting and leveling
- Rank boosting services
- Achievement unlocking
- Quest completion services
- Coaching and training sessions
Gift Cards & Top-ups
- Game store gift cards
- Platform credits (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, etc.)
- Subscription cards
- In-game top-up cards
Digital Goods
- Game keys and activation codes
- DLC and expansion codes
- Beta access keys
- NFTs and blockchain-based game assets
Prohibited Items & Services
Strictly Prohibited
The following items and services are strictly prohibited. Listing these will result in immediate removal and potential account suspension:
Illegal Items
- • Illicit drugs or controlled substances
- • Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
- • Stolen goods or credentials
- • Counterfeit items or currency
- • Items obtained through hacking or fraud
Inappropriate Content
- • Adult, sexual, or pornographic content
- • Violent or graphic content
- • Hate speech or discriminatory content
- • Content promoting self-harm
- • Content involving minors inappropriately
Fraudulent Services
- • Hacking or cheating services
- • Botting or automation services
- • Exploit or bug abuse services
- • Phishing or scam services
- • Identity theft services
Other Prohibited
- • Real-world goods (physical items)
- • Financial services or investments
- • Gambling services
- • Personal information or data
- • Services violating third-party ToS*
* While we allow game items and boosting services, sellers are responsible for understanding and accepting the risks associated with potential violations of game publishers' terms of service.
Listing Requirements
Accurate Titles
Your listing title must:
- Clearly describe the item or service
- Include the game name
- Specify quantity if applicable
- Not contain misleading claims or spam keywords
- Be written in English (primary) or clearly indicate the language
Good Example
"World of Warcraft - 500,000 Gold - US Servers - Instant Delivery"
Bad Example
"CHEAP!!! BEST GOLD FAST SAFE TRUSTED SELLER BUY NOW!!!"
Detailed Descriptions
Your listing description must include:
- Exact details: What the buyer will receive
- Delivery method: How the item/service will be delivered
- Delivery time: Expected timeframe for completion
- Requirements: Any prerequisites (account level, region, etc.)
- Limitations: Any restrictions or conditions
Images
- Use relevant, high-quality images
- Screenshots should be from the actual game
- Do not use misleading or unrelated images
- Stock images should be clearly identified as such
- Do not include contact information or watermarks promoting off-platform trading
- Images must not contain prohibited content
Pricing
- Prices must be set in USDC
- Price should reflect the actual value of the item/service
- Do not use deceptive pricing (e.g., listing 1 gold when selling 1000)
- Bulk discounts should be clearly explained
Prohibited Listing Practices
Duplicate Listings
Creating multiple identical or near-identical listings to dominate search results
Keyword Stuffing
Adding irrelevant keywords to titles or descriptions to manipulate search
Bait and Switch
Advertising one item/price but delivering something different or requesting additional payment
False Stock
Listing items you don't have or can't deliver within the stated timeframe
Off-Platform Promotion
Including external contact information or encouraging buyers to transact outside the marketplace
Intellectual Property
All listings must respect intellectual property rights:
- Do not use copyrighted images without permission
- Do not claim official affiliation with game publishers unless authorized
- Do not use trademarks in a misleading way
- Do not sell counterfeit or pirated content
DMCA & Takedown Requests
If you believe a listing infringes on your intellectual property rights, please contact us with details. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing the listing and suspending the seller's account.
Game Publisher Terms of Service
Many game publishers prohibit the real-money trading (RMT) of in-game items or boosting services in their terms of service. As a seller on Playhold Marketplace:
- You acknowledge that you understand and accept any risks associated with RMT
- You are solely responsible for any consequences from game publishers (account bans, etc.)
- Playhold Marketplace does not encourage or endorse violation of game ToS
- We are not liable for any actions taken by game publishers against you or your buyers
Listing Review & Moderation
We reserve the right to:
- Review any listing for policy compliance
- Remove listings that violate our policies without notice
- Request additional information or verification
- Modify listing categories or visibility
- Suspend sellers who repeatedly violate policies
Reporting Violations
If you encounter a listing that violates these policies, please report it through the platform. Reports help us maintain a safe marketplace for everyone. When reporting:
- Identify the specific policy violation
- Provide the listing URL or ID
- Include any relevant evidence or screenshots
