Account Requirements

One Account Policy

Each seller is permitted to maintain only one account on Playhold Marketplace. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, manipulate reviews, or gain unfair advantages is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.

Account Verification

Your account is tied to your blockchain wallet address. This provides transparent, verifiable identity on the platform. All your transaction history, ratings, and badges are associated with this wallet address.

Staying Active

Active sellers receive better visibility in search results and are more likely to attract buyers. We recommend:

  • Logging in regularly to check for orders and messages
  • Keeping your inventory and listings up to date
  • Responding to buyer inquiries within 24 hours
  • Fulfilling orders as quickly as possible

Order Fulfillment

Delivery Requirements

When a buyer purchases from your listing, you are expected to:

  • Deliver promptly: Complete delivery within the timeframe specified in your listing. If no timeframe is specified, delivery should occur within 24 hours for digital items.
  • Communicate clearly: Keep the buyer informed of delivery status through the platform's chat system.
  • Match the description: Deliver exactly what was advertised—same quantity, quality, and specifications.

Proof of Delivery

For your protection and to resolve potential disputes, you should always document your deliveries:

  • Take screenshots showing the item/service being delivered
  • Include timestamps when possible
  • Show the quantity and specifications match the order
  • For boosting services, document before and after states
  • Keep records for at least 30 days after delivery

Important

Without proof of delivery, disputes will typically be resolved in the buyer's favor. Always document your deliveries to protect yourself.

Cancellations

Sellers should avoid canceling orders whenever possible. Frequent cancellations negatively impact your reputation and may result in:

  • Lower visibility in search results
  • Warning notices on your seller profile
  • Potential account restrictions
  • Loss of seller badges

If you must cancel an order due to circumstances beyond your control, communicate with the buyer immediately and provide a clear explanation.

Communication Rules

Use Platform Chat Only

All communication with buyers must occur through the Playhold Marketplace chat system. This requirement exists to:

  • Protect both parties with a documented conversation history
  • Enable fair dispute resolution with complete context
  • Prevent scams and off-platform fraud
  • Ensure escrow protection remains active

What NOT to Share in Chat

Never share the following through any communication channel:

  • Login credentials: Passwords, security codes, 2FA codes
  • Personal financial info: Bank accounts, credit card numbers, crypto wallet seed phrases
  • External contact info: Personal email, phone numbers, Discord/Telegram for trading

If account access is required for boosting services, use the platform's secure credential sharing system (if available) or establish clear protocols with the buyer through platform chat.

Listing Best Practices

Accurate Descriptions

Your listings must accurately represent what buyers will receive:

  • Clearly describe the item, quantity, and any relevant specifications
  • Include the game name and server/region if applicable
  • Specify delivery method and estimated timeframe
  • Disclose any limitations or requirements (e.g., account level requirements)
  • Use your own screenshots when possible; stock images should be clearly labeled

Pricing

  • Set fair, competitive prices based on market value
  • All prices are in USDC
  • The buyer pays the listing price plus marketplace fees
  • You receive the full listing price upon successful completion

Inventory Management

  • Only list items you currently have available
  • Remove or pause listings when inventory is depleted
  • Update quantities promptly after sales
  • Don't create duplicate listings for the same item

Prohibited Actions

The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension:

  • Off-platform trading: Attempting to complete transactions outside the marketplace to avoid fees or escrow protection
  • Self-purchasing: Buying from your own listings to manipulate reviews or statistics
  • Review manipulation: Offering incentives for positive reviews or creating fake reviews
  • Buyer poaching: Attempting to recruit buyers for off-platform transactions

  • Fraudulent activity: Scamming, misrepresentation, or any form of fraud
  • Account sharing: Allowing others to use your seller account

Dispute Liability

As a seller, you bear responsibility for disputes arising from your actions or inactions. This includes:

  • Failure to deliver or late delivery
  • Delivering items that don't match the listing description
  • Failure to provide adequate proof of delivery
  • Non-responsive communication with buyers

When disputes are resolved against you, funds held in escrow will be returned to the buyer. Repeated disputes may result in account restrictions or suspension.

Violations of these guidelines may result in:
